In this part the Mother is finishing her reading of the first chapter of Sri Aurobindo work “The Mother”. The complete surrender to Divine Shakti and to her force is required from spiritual seeker. This is the core teaching of Sri Aurobindo Yoga. Without this surrender no Yoga is possible.

One of the most fundamental and profound of all Sri Aurobindo’s spiritual visions is the one, which he reveals in his book “The Mother”:

“The One whom we adore as the Mother is the divine Conscious Force that dominates all existence, one and yet so many-sided that to follow her movement is impossible even for the quickest mind and for freest and most vast intelligence.”

This is the real nature of the Mother’s being. In the new film the Mother reads the profound words of Sri Aurobindo’s work “The Mother”.

In the third film of the new sequence “The Mother’s Voice”, “Prayers and Meditations. July 12, 1918”, the Mother describes a difficult moment in her life while being in Japan.

The new sequence “The Mother’s Voice” is very unusual. So far in our films we have been using a simple narrative, illustrating the Mother’s and Sri Aurobindo’s words with images that expressed perception of the inner mental and vital, or, in other words, how they see spiritual experiences.

The new sequence leaves all this behind and steps up to a new level of perception, which expresses the vision of Purusha.

Only Mother’s Voice and her photographs create documentary like simplicity of her powerful Presence with nothing that intervenes with it, not even color.
